Emma and Alan Withers
Emma came to Australia from the UK in 1990 and like many people fell in love with the Top End of the Northern Territory and never left. She has been taking photographs for the last ten years and in recent times has been concentrating on rare and endangered species such as the Gouldian Finch. Her pursuit of these birds is on weekends and holidays as at this point of time photogaphy is a hobby supported by her full time employment in the travel industry
Alan has been in the Northern Territory for over twenty years and works as a Park Ranger. Along with Emma he has spent many years in the more remote parts of the Top End such as Cobourg Peninsula working with the Traditional Owners of the Garig Gunak Barlu National and Marine Park. Alan documents the wildlife on video and as is such in the Top End is never short on subjects
